July 28, 2008 It’s been awhile since I posted last. Things have been pretty hectic and time seems to be moving a good clip when that happens. Because of that I tend to lose track of things, like this blog.
Work has been going good. It’s been a few weeks since I switched departments. It’s refreshing to be with people on the same level, not to mention the projects we are working on are really interesting.
The house has been coming along. Amanda and I started painting the inside this past weekend when he sister and husband were in town. We have a couple of rooms done already. I can’t wait till we get in there.
Lastly, school has been going ok. The last class was a real killer. It was an intermediate accounting class for people who never took accounting before. Needless to say everyone had a very frustrating 7 weeks.
Time to hit the sack, hopefully I will start getting a chance to update more often

June 23, 2008 I been trying to ride every morning now since I got my new bike, I went from doing 2.5 miles and almost dying to doing almost 5 miles now here is a map of my expanded route!

It’s taken me about 25 minutes to run this route. I am going to try and see if I can start shaving that time down a little bit.

June 9, 2008 I started my new routine this morning. I am going to be getting up and biking for at least a half hour before I get read for work. I really need to start doing something about my weight. I am pushing 30 this year and I really need to start taking better care of myself. I used to bike close to 100 miles as week when I was younger. So for my birthday my wife, her parents, and my parents got me a new Trek FX7.3 hybrid bike.
So this morning I figured I would start easy and did this ride for a total of 2.6 miles roundtrip

June 8, 2008 It’s official, I am not a system engineer for the local division. After being in job limbo for over 3 months I now have a permanent gig again. My last day with my current department is on the 19th and I start with the new group on the 20th. I am soo excited!!!
